Last but not Least...Get Outta Town!

A good weekend road trip is Nashville, Tennessee.  Let's face it, everybody needs a break from the daily grind. 

 It's a great city with a lot to visit and see.  Downtown you have the Frist Center for Visual Arts ,Tootsie's Purple Orchid Saloon, and since there is so much to see you could rest and relax at the beautiful Union Station  All within about 4 blocks of each other.  

If you love gardens,Cheekwood is the place to go and since there is much ado about the Civil War, visit historic Franklin and other Civil War sites.   

Of course, there is the Belle Meade Plantation with its winery and Kentucky Derby Party for 2011.  Of course, while you are in the Belle Meade neighborhood, you would not want to miss  Jester's Gallery, which carries my work in the Nashville area.
